Get your name out there by participating in our Student Branch activities
Our local chapter has a student branch and you could be part of it! Student board members decide on how to run the branch: what activities to do and when to do them, coordinate study groups for those really tough projects, or whatever they come up with they deem useful. The interesting part is, the Evansville chapter reserves a seat at our board meetings for the Student Branch President... they have our ear. If they want to have an event with our YEA (35 and under), we'll set that up. If they want an event with the more experienced engineers (and maybe pass out a few resume's in the process), we'll set that up. Yes, some of our members are college / university faculty so you may get to network with some of them however, we will not request grade changes.
Apply for our very own Chapter's Undergraduate Student Scholarships
Students attending college within the coverage area of the Evansville Chapter of ASHRAE are encouraged to apply for new local scholarship of $500-$1000. Scholarship funds may be applied toward tuition, room & board, textbooks, and campus fees.

Students must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program, or an HVAC program of study for the 2025-26 academic year, be in good standing, and have full-time student status.

​Recipients must attend at least one Evansville ASHRAE meeting (June 2025-May 2026) to receive the scholarship award. Scholarships will include a 1-year student membership to ASHRAE.

INCLUDE: your full name, address, phone number, school, degree program, and your class standing (i.e. freshman, sophomore, junior, senior) A brief description of why you should receive an ASHRAE scholarship (500 words or less)
